Sitting quietly camping a gate with my main and 2 alts when I see a "BS" warp to hisec gate. He sat there for a good 5 min. I nearly fell out my chair when I ran a scan and rorq was only ship in space.
Making sure i wasn't playing eve in my sleep again I double checked and warped phobos in to poinnt him. I start pounding away with hype hoping rest of fleet can arrive b4 I run outa cap charges.
You could tell he was scratching his head trying to figure out why he couldn't jump out.
As soon as his shields take a hit he starts throwin isk at me, 200 mil to let him go. I chance my arm and get my alts to ask for the same amount. Sure enough thier wallets start to blink.
Luckily the dude has no tank and drops like a stone. I hold fire at 10% structure until fleet arrives. He dies as soon as they land.

I never ask for a ransom. If someone's stupid enough to start to throw isk at me thinking I'm gonna spare them then more fool them.

Just to clarify. I didn't ask for a ransom. He sent me 200 mil begging me to let him go, after he said he had no money. My alts said "where's my 200 then?". For someone who said they were skint he paid another 400 mil quickly enough.
But this is besides the point. You assume I'm a pirate. I'm not. I don't rely on ransoms for isk, the loot more than covers my costs by far.
My sole intention is to kill everything that moves, or die trying. Where's the room for honour in that? If I did decide to start ransoming I'd still kill them anayway.
I've been in every profesion in eve, from miner to explorer. By far the most fun I've had is killing folk stupid enough to come into losec. Sure, on occasion I get my ass handed to me, but it's always fun. If I was allowed in hisec I'd do the same there.... but Concord seem to take offence :)
To those who have a brush shaft up thier ass over my lack of "honour" or not following some imagined pirate code... get a life. Any dumb **** who sits for 5 mins trying to jump a cap through a gate deserves to be podded.
